Opportunity Knocks - volunteers will canvass KCMSD with good news
There is good news in the Kansas City Missouri School District and during the month of August volunteers will knock on every door in the district to share it.
Volunteers are invited to sign up to be part of a district-wide canvass that will personally deliver the hope-filled message that the transformation of the district is well underway and bringing with it positive results. The canvass will also share highlights of the district that some of our neighbors may not be familiar with:
- Did you know that a KCMSD school is ranked among the top 100 best high schools in the nation according to Newsweek Magazine?
- Did you know that two KCMSD 2010 graduates each earned over $350K in scholarships for college?
- Did you know that KCMSD scholars placed in the top 10 best in the nation at the SkillsUSA competition in June 2010?
Individuals and families may sign-up for a weekend canvass by visiting the Opportunity Knocks website or call 816-237-0291.
