Intergenerational activities

The LINC Aging Committee is working with local long-term care facilities, adult day care programs, and the Caring Communities Before and After School program to create opportunities for intergenerational activities. Swope Ridge Geriatric Center and the Swope Corridor Renaissance recently dedicated the Buck O'Neil Intergenerational Garden and Playground. The playground will benefit children from the Upper Room Program at St. Louis Church as well as the residents at Swope Ridge.
