Grandparents as Parents
In the metropolitan Kansas City area, a large and growing population of grandparents is raising their grandchildren. A new book provides these grandparent caregivers with information on where to find useful resources. The Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Resource Guide for Kansas City, Missouri and Surrounding Areas was created by the Grandparents as Parents (GAP) Outreach Program, a joint venture of the Center on Aging Studies at UMKC and LINC.
